Earth to Alisa!

I really NEED to come back down to Earth. My mind is being sucked into the universe of Claire and Jamie Fraser... For the past several weeks, I have been reading Outlander, then Dragonfly in Amber. After a few heart-wrenching reading sessions to get through the inevitable parting scene I knew must come at the end of the second book, I finally finished it this morning. And I thought that would be that until I did all my work and summer break rolled around.

I had planned on putting the book down and doing something productive, like taxes, or homework. Instead, my mind keeps wandering back to the 1960s and the 1740s - wondering what comes next after that absolutely f'ed-up last paragraph.

Luckily, UNC doesn't have that book in the library (although, how retarded for a library to not have book 3 out of a 6 book series?) and Chapel Hill Public's 2 copies are checked out. Carrboro Branch has a couple copies available, but I can't get over there until my weekly Wednesday trip. That gives me two and a half days to get a significant amount of work done. Now, if only I could tear myself away from this computer and to a library on campus so I could actually do that work I so desperately need to be doing....

------
On a very FRUSTRATING side note, my computer is INSANE. It seems to think that when I press command+V OR paste, I want it to insert an asterisk, not actually paste the text I copied. WTFFFF??? So, you can't have links to the books in Amazon because I can't copy the link and I don't feel like typing them all out. Look them up yourself!
