4 things

For wanting to be a librarian, I really need to learn how to not let libraries stress me out and exhaust me...

Atlases suck. At least the atlas section in Davis Ref does. Nothing is in order. And half the books I thought I needed weren't there. And the other half I thought I needed didn't actually have the information that seemed like it would be in there.

Protege sucks. I spent 2 hours today working on my homework for creating a breakfast foods ontology. I picked breakfast foods because I thought it would be at least kind of interesting. Basically, it's a hierarchy of breakfast foods with the items at the bottom-level and then those items have properties, like name, brand, price, ounces, calories per serving, and serving size. I had to fill in all of those by shopping online at HarrisTeeter.com. So I get done with filling in about 30 different items' properties, save my file, and change ONE THING and keep going, save again, and then realize that changing that ONE THING deleted ALL my item properties information. AND I couldn't undo. AND I had saved over the good file. So I spent another hour doing it all over again.

My timing sucks. I need a scooter so I don't have to rely on my short legs to get me to the bus stop on time, because it just doesn't happen. I think my success rate with getting to a bus stop on campus on time is less than 50%.
