A new pet peeve

I just don't understand people sometimes. I try, and then when I don't, whatever action it is that I don't understand becomes a pet peeve. Here is a new one:

This one lady walks her baby stroller in the bike lane. On the road. Next to the sidewalk.

I understand some people prefer to run on tarmac because the tar content makes it springier than the concrete sidewalk. And sometimes there just aren't sidewalks. But to put your infant in danger like that when there's no logical reason not to use the sidewalk, it's just stupid. Cars fly down that road at 40 mph, cutting into the bike lane through the narrow curves. I've seen a crazy bad accident in one particular curve, the same curve where I've seen this same woman and stroller repeatedly.

Stupidity. When it effects other people, it should be a crime.
